I'm Having a Contest to Celebrate Spring

I'm tired of winter so I'm trying to celebrate Spring by giving away a pair of earrings that the winner can wear with her Easter outfit. (I know the first day of Spring isn't for another week and a half but I'm anxious for it to come.)

I want to meet more of you so I am offering an incentive for you to post to my blog. These earrings were made by my mother-in-law or sister-in-law who both have jewelry businesses. They are all fresh water pearls and the metal parts are all sterling silver. You can pick the pair that you want and I will mail them to you. (So, you have to give me some way to contact you if you don't have a blog.) You have until March 15 to enter. I will have my grandson pick the winner.

Happy Spring! I look forward to making new friends.

I have been reading your blog after your dtr has introduced it. I work with Larry at OSU and my 17 m/o son loves looking at creeds pics on the computer. He always asks for the Baby, baby. Stephanie's projects are very inspirational, and i have even gotten my sewing maching out and made a few things. I also love photography, so i enjoy all the photographers in your family. I even started my own blog last month for my family at proofofpurpose.blogspot.com
enjoy, i always enjoy your site!

I really hope one of your Columbus readers wins this Spring contest, because we need it after the blizzard of '08. So glad you started a blog - you have so much to share.

I live in southwest Florida, the land of perpetual summer, but I'd love the earrings anyway! I love reading about all your fun projects and activities with your grandsons. Thanks for the ideas!!

You should check out googleanalytics. com to see WHERE all of your readers are from. It's interesting to see who's watching from where. Thanks for your posts!

I found your blog through Steph. We became friends at BYU because our husbands were friends. Larry and Ben worked in the same lab, both applied to med. school and are now both in residency (although in different places/specialties). We're in Boston and we can't wait for spring!

I found your blog through Stephanie's but I have read Candice's too. You have one amazing and inspirational family, you know that? You are all so talented and I love how close your daughters seem to be with each other and with you. I love YOUR projects as well and even though I live here in Columbus, I have never met Stephanie personally but would love to. My husband (a 4th yr) worked with Larry one night during one of his rotations and Larry let him go home early and see us, his family!! I have liked them since that day! What resident ever lets a med student go early?!! Anyway, thanks for sharing all your fun projects and hopefully one day I'll get the courage to introduce myself to Stephanie. Geesh...I am probably even in her stake! ;) Happy Spring!

My husband, Del, and Larry were roommates at BYU, and Steph and Larry lived at our apt. after they were married (and we lived in TX temporarily) before they moved to Ohio. Make sense? I've actually been to your house once too and love your decorating sense (although I know you say you're updating it now)! I check out your's and Stephanie's blogs regularly and love all of your great ideas. Your family is sooo talented!--Tina Mecham

I'm very excited to have just found your blog. I'm also an Ohio reader, and a friend of Steph's. I'm actually Heather's sister too! I have benefited greatly from some of the crafty ideas from the Borup girls (as well as out-of-this world parties from Steph and great photography tips from Candice.) I'm excited to see what the future hold for this charming new blog I've found!

Momma Borup-I love your blog and I love your family and your spring fever and those earrings. You know I love earrings... I have been meaning to ask you where you got your plate holder that you hang your jewelry on. That is a great idea! Love your guts. Happy birthday to Bishop too.
